If you are looking for a small, friendly community of believers that gathers in an historic country church, please consider visiting us.

Walmer’s Church (Annville, PA) is a neighborly congregation, founded in 1750 by Peter Walmer, and steeped in tradition. Fifty years after its founding, in 1800, The German Reformed congregation invited its Lutheran neighbors, who had assisted with renovations to the church, to join in worshipping at Walmer’s.

From that day forward, Salem Walmer’s has functioned as a Union Church, serving both UCC and Lutheran congregations. Each congregation has its own hierarchy, with both joining together for an overall Church governing body that functions as one.

Walmer’s is a learning church with strong and lengthy traditions that values the practice of active lay leadership and participation.

It has remained steadfast to its history of supporting the less fortunate in the community for over 250 years.

The Union formed by two denominations does not divide us but only makes us stronger.
